New Blog Site | Shadowing Lights| California Photographer

Wow, it feels like its been a long week and it is not even over yet. Tomorrow is a designated CHILL out day:) Shadowing Lights is up! YAY! and we are giving away an engagement session. This blog and Emma williams Photography will still be here as i slowly integrate it or maybe keep it a special place for babies, children… beautiful bumps… families in bloom or blossomed (as you can tell Im feeling rather romantic)

Here is an image from Victoria & Kyles TTD (the dress was unharmed … but i could also do a fantastic job of helping trashing a dress) maybe our couples need to wait a few years (i dont know .. can i say that;)) Im going to miss Kyle & Victoria after 3 beautiful shoots!

You can see the full session HERE and please share our session GIVEAWAY! i hope you love the new site.

Rick & Laurel | LA / Orange County Wedding Photographer

I had been trying like crazy to hold out on blogging laurel & Ricks wedding day because i was wanting to launch Shadowing Lights and have theirs be the first ‘fresh’ post. Then i thought, hey … when have a ever followed the rules … let alone my own. (okay, okay im behind schedule with Shadowing Lights. I completely underestimated what moving across the state ment)

Introducing Rick & Laurel.  What a great day and evening, we had so much fun with you all. i cannot say enough of you both and how your energy moves a room and Laurel you lighten up the world.

With a wedding date close to Halloween being my cup of brew! (i have a little obsession with skulls and skeletons and a growing collection – all in good taste however hehehe)

Rick & Laurel 10.22.2011 Congrats xx

A Very Happy Halloween | LA / Orange County Children’s Photographer

We LOVED taking Indie all dressed up to the pumpkin patch this year, nothing like feeling like a child yourself. I cannot wait to go pick out our tree for this xmas and join in some festivities in the process.

Thanks so much to My Stitch In Time for the awesome leg warmers and Berchta’s Belly for the super sweet hat.

Wishing everyone a very happy Thanks Giving

A Sweet Meeting | LA / Orange County Children’s Photographer

YAY! to celebrate the newest member of our family … a nephew (no i didn’t just have a baby) I thought i should blog. This was my first session here in SoCal, a very special family celebrating a very important meeting. We had a fantastic time at Newport beach. I love shooting at the beach but, thats another story.

We have not settled completely here yet, its about to finally happen though. Time to start “thinking” about catching up on the blog.

Matt & Alexis | LA / Orange County Engagement Photographer

As soon as i met Alexis and Matt i knew i was going to have a great time working with them. We had lots of plans for their engagement session and hit a couple of hiccups along the way but, as usual everything turned out exactly as it should have. We had a blast in these gardens and ran into a few cobweb & spider surprises but, we survived and so did the spiders.

Alexis & Matt, have a great time leading up to your day. We cant wait to see what you have in store for us!!

Our move down to Orange County went well and i will not lie … i love it here.
